        Dear Parents,

    Happy Holidays from the P.T.O. @ R.S.M.S. We hope all are enjoying the season.

    We will be having a Box Top drive Next week. Monday the 5th - Friday the 9th.  The individual homeroom class that sends in the most Box Tops will win a Big Basket. It will be filled with goodies, supplies ..etc. It will be for the Teacher and Kids. So send in your Box Tops! This is a great Way to raise free money for our school.

The Basket will be on Display on the 7th - the 9th in the front office.

Purpose:
The purpose of the RSMS PTO is to assist and support the school in recognizing and promoting the students' activities. We operate under the guidance of the school's principal. We do not sent policies, make decisions or take action, yet we can make suggestions and give advice.

Membership:
At RSMS we consider any parent , grandparent or guardian of all our students a member of our P T O. As well as all teachers, staff and administration.

Fundraising:
The PTO does not fundraise or charge dues. We do assist the school with their fundraisers. We rely on donations from parents for any projects we have.

Projects:
Here is a list of the projects we help with as well as helping in any other way when we are ask.

  1. Principal's List Breakfast---We provide and serve food to all the A students and good citizens each 6 weeks.
  2. Knight Incentive Bingo----We assist in setup , serving and clean up, the games are held twice a year and reward student for grades and good behavior.
  3. Teacher Appreciation---- We do something for our teachers at Christmas and during Teacher Appreciation week.
  4. Teacher Conferences---We provide some form of snacks on parent -teachers conference days since our teachers are here until at least 6PM.
  5. Round Table Meeting---These meeting are held monthly as a way for parents to meet with administration and discuss any issues that may arise.
  6. Fundraiser--- We help in any way that we can with the school's fundraisers, such as count in money and checking orders.
  7. Knight Hike---We help in any way that we can with this big fundraiser, it take lots of parent volunteers to make this a success .
