J. Taylor Dugger
8th Grade Language Arts
English Language Arts Department Chair / Dean of Students 
John Taylor Dugger has been a resident and stakeholder in Rutherford County since 2003. He is a native of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Mr. Dugger had the opportunity to join Rutherford County Schools in 2013 at Stewarts Creek Middle School where he taught 8th Grade Language Arts and was an Assistant Soccer Coach. In 2014, he moved to Rock Springs Middle School where he has served as Language Arts teacher and Head Soccer Coach for four years. In addition, Mr. Dugger acts in a leadership capacity as Department Chair for the English Language Arts Department, and as Dean of Students. He is also faculty sponsor for The Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Mr. Dugger earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2008. In 2011, he received a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. He acquired an Educational Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University in 2017.
Mr. Dugger has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 4 years. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Addalyn and Elizabeth. The Dugger family attends Experience Community Church in Murfreesboro. Mr. Dugger loves reading, soccer, college football, running, and spending time with his family. He also likes to golf, even though he never seems to get any better.
