Announcements 05/16/23
- Best Buddies, office worker, and announcement team applications are on our school website if you are interested.
- If you are interested in playing volleyball for LaVergne High School, please email Coach Jackson for the information.
- Yearbooks will be passed out during grade level days next week.
- Please allow Student Council members to come to the library during R&E this Friday. Only 6th and 7th graders need to attend since we will be discussing the 8th grade formal.
- Our awards ceremony will take place on Friday. We will have a practice run for this tomorrow. If your parents would like to attend this event, please have them preregister in the front office.
Announcements 05/15/23
- If you are interested in playing softball for LaVergne High School please attend the interest meeting in the library at 7:30 on Wednesday morning.
- Ms. Harrell needs to see all Yearbook Staff Wednesday and Thursday during R&E.
- Yearbooks are on sale for $40. You may pay with cash or check.
- FCA will meet at 7:30 on Wednesday.
- 7th grade students will turn in their laptops today during their social studies classes.
Announcements 05/09/23
- New Student Orientation is tonight. Doors open at 4:30. The presentation will begin at 5:00.
- If you are interested in playing sports next year be sure you have an updated physical dated April 15th or later and that you have completed all forms on Final Forms. This can be found on our school website on the Athletics tab.
Announcements 05/08/23
- There will be no Journalism Club this Wednesday. Please go home your normal way.
- If you are trying out for football, please go to the locker room at all remaining tomorrow.
- Spring Fling wristbands will be on sale at the T starting tomorrow. Wristbands are $25. This includes all activities plus two slices of pizza and a drink. Extra tickets and concessions can be purchased for $1. Spring Fling is scheduled for Thursday, May 18th.

- Good luck to our boys' soccer team!
- If you are interested in playing a sport next year, please make sure you have an updated physical. See our school website for more information.
- Move up day for future SCHS 9th graders and RSMS 6th graders is tomorrow morning.
- Be on your best behavior if you want to participate in all of our end of the year activities.

- This Friday is Move Up Day for current 8th graders attending Stewart's Creek next year and current 5th graders attending Rock Springs Middle next year.

- Cheer tryouts are happening this week. See Coach Caldwell with any questions.
- There will be a interest meeting for cross country this Thursday at 7:40 in the library.

- The application for Best Buddies can be found on our school website. Applications for this club are due May 17th.
- Our yearbooks have arrived. See Ms. Harrell if you are interested in purchasing one. There is a limited supply so first come, first served.
