Quick Look: General Information
All members (and/or parents of members) need to join the book club Remind. Text @rsmbooks to 81010 to stay up-to-date on all of our activities and book choices. Monthly book themes are below.
Join Book Club: Permission slips can be found in the library or attached at the very bottom of this page and need to be returned to Mrs. Sprinkle (library) or Mrs. DuFault (Room 201). Dues can be paid in the SchoolCash app or by cash/check. Enrollment is open through October.

The book club will meet once a month from 3:15-4:15 p.m. in the school library. Each month, we will have a themed book discussion during club time on books chosen by students in the club.

Students must have a signed permission form turned in to participate (attached below).

*Dues pay for incidentals and materials for club activities. Field trips may require an extra charge. Dues can be paid by credit card on SchoolCash App or by cash or check made out to RSMS.

Book Club Activities
In addition to having book discussions, we also plan to complete book-related activities* throughout the year. Possibilities include:
- Smyrna Library Field Trip
- Read Across America Event: reading to elementary children
- Movie Night (based on a book)
- Book Tasting
- End-of-year Party
- Dress as your favorite book character event
- Writing / Illustrating a Children's Book
- Battle of the books (dependent on funding) or Quizbowl
- Book Games (kahoot, blookit, book-title Pictionary, etc)
- Book Personality Quizzes
- Author Event
- Table Read
- Fundraiser (maybe)
