RSMS Chess Club, 2025-2026
Chess Club will have its last two meetings on Monday, May 4th and Monday, May 11th. Students can bring a snack to share to our May 11th meeting.
IMPORTANT: All club members need a signed permission slip to participate (see below). You may get a paper copy from Officer Lawson in the front office or Mrs. DuFault in Room 201. Chess club is open to join all year.

*We will not meet during weeks where a holiday falls on a Monday nor during TCAP testing
Meeting Time: 3:15-4:15 p.m.
Meeting Location: Library
Pick Up Location: Front of the school
Who can join? Anyone who is interested in chess. We accept both beginners and experienced players!
Dues: Free!
*Note: Club numbers will be limited to the amount of chess boards we can acquire, so it is first come, first serve.

Chess Competition Information
What: Middle TN Scholastic Chess Tournament
When: Saturday, December 6th
Where: Central Magnet School
Registration Information: I am sorry to say that this tournament has been cancelled but we are working on putting together another tournament with several other schools in the spring. Details TBD.
Parents will be responsible for dropping off and picking up their child.
