Ways to help your student excel this year:
* Check Skyward frequently to monitor their grades and missing assignments.
* Have your child assist you with budgeting, buying groceries, or paying bills. Using math in real world applications will strengthen their math skills.
* Have your child read out loud to you. Reading out loud will strengthen their reading fluency and pacing.
* Stay involved! Ask about their class assignments, ask to see their notes, help them study by quizzing them from their notes.
* Make sure they have the supplies they need to be successful.
* Make sure they are getting adequate sleep so they can perform their best at school.
Extra Practice:
iReady
* Your student can log on to iReady by going through Clever. The Green lessons are on their specific level and are a great way to practice skills. Many math classes require weekly iReady lessons.
Moby Max
* This can also be accessed through Clever. This app provides an opportunity to practice fact fluency.
