April Smith, Instructional Coach

My name is April Smith, and I am one of two Instructional Coaches at the greatest school in the state of Tennessee: Rock Springs Middle School. 

I have over 23 years of teaching experience in the states of Alabama, Kentucky, Virginia, and Tennessee and have always loved infusing technology into my student learning experiences.  I received my Bachelors of Science from the former Birmingham-Southern College and my Masters in Education from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. 

I love assisting teachers in creating authentic learning experiences for students in all areas of study and modeling innovative practices for teachers. 

I love working with the faculty, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Rock Springs Middle School!
