I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from MTSU and a Masters of Science in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment from Walden University.  I have taught in both Marion County and Rutherford County Schools.  I have taught at Rock Springs Middle School since 2003.  I teach because I enjoy guiding students as they transition from elementary school to high school.  In addition, it is fulfilling to teach science standards and career information to the students through exciting, hands on classroom experiences.
