Seesaw: https://web.seesaw.me/
Download the Seesaw app on your phone (iOS and Android).
Use the codes in the room to join the class. or go to https://web.seesaw.me/
Seesaw is an online digital portfolio. Students can record their learning, keep work organized in one place, and communicate with you. This can be an essential tool for your 2:1 classroom!
Flipgrid: https://info.flipgrid.com/
Download the Flipgrid app on your phone (iOS and Android)
Flipgrid allows students to upload video feedback. Create a "grid" for your classes. Inside each "grid" you can post multiple topics. Inside each topic, students can add their videos. Post a topic online for students to see each other's responses. Any short, formative response that you ask students to do can be turned into a Flipgrid.
Flipgrid Ideas:
Exit Ticket
Video Reflection
Response to a reading
Explain a concept (students can decide who explained it best)
Classroom Introductions
Student self analysis:
Have students use paperrater to address an essay draft. Students can respond in flipgrid what they learned about their own writing, and state a goal they have for the draft based on what they learned.
Padlet: https://padlet.com/
Padlet allows you to create a blank "wall" on which anyone with the link can add text, pictures, links, or video. This gives your classroom a blank space for collaboration, class discussion, posting assignment material, etc.
Padlet Ideas:
Class Blog
Upload instructional videos
Class discussions
Students can link cross-curricular articles or images
